During Victorian and Edwardian times the gift of violets suggested that the giver's thoughts were occupied with love.
We created this elegant piece by riveting an antique enamel violet (circa 1910) onto a vintage 14k gold locket (circa 1970-1980). The flower is accented with a pearl and diamond.
The piece measures 1.35 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.8 inches wide (when closed), and it is in great condition.
